A brief description of the game from Michael Penington: Pretty extraordinary game really. They made 212 in 35 overs. We were well behind the clock, but then Joe came in and made a rapid 60-70 with William Ball at the other end, and having needed 91 off the last 10 we needed 21 off 3 with 6 wickets left. A tight over left 18 off 2. Unfortunately Joe was caught at long off on the fourth ball of the over, but Will hit a 4 and a 1 leaving 12 off the last over. Will hit the first ball for 6, and then singles for Will and Harry left 4 to get off three balls. Will was then caught down the leg side off something that sounded much more like pad than bat. Ollie scrambled a single, leaving three to win off the last ball. Harry hit it into the off side, and they ran one. The keeper, thinking it was all over, threw the ball high in the air, at which point they ran a second while the ball was in the air. With everyone shouting at him, the keeper took a shy at the stumps. Sadly there was no overthrow and the game ended in a tie. The game was played in a good spirit, and they seemed a nice bunch.
